BHD Series
Biker?
Hiker?
Dogger?

This is one of a series of caches on the Parley's Point section of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. This section extends from near Carrigan Canyon ("H" Rock) to Parley's Canyon.
It is an excellent urban getaway trail for mountain bikers, hikers, trail runners and dog walkers.
There are caches to get you to either trailhead:
BHD 01 - North Trailhead
BHD 12 - South Trailhead
All 12 caches are Regulars with the exception of BHD 04 - Juniper in a Jiffy! which is an easy Multi.
The travel distance between the two trailheads is 3.75 miles. You can park right at the North Trailhead on Lakeline Drive. However, the South Trailhead requires a walk in of about one mile along the paved Parley's Crossing Trail and then along an old dirt road. Consider parking on Thunderbird Drive for the south option.
BHD 04, the Multi, will work MUCH better if you start at the North Trailhead on Lakeline!
Update 5-3-2022: Google Earth's satellite imagery was updated yesterday, so you can now view the entire trail from above. The trail, and other new near-urban trails, has been the source of controversy, due to their rather extreme scarring of the land. The Parley's Point Trail definitely alters the view, but it is very well made and a blast, especially on a mountain bike. It's likely to be packed when more folks discover it.
Enjoy the hike, run, ride or geodog jaunt!
