Located in the outer reaches of Apedale Community Country Park this cache can be found stashed just off one of the many paths. This is a much quieter part of the park, as in places the terrain is probably a bit more challenging than the lower areas near to the visitor centre. Paths are well maintained, so decent shoes or boots will be fine. Can imagine it getting quite muddy at times though
We chose this spot as its an addition to an already established cluster of caches. As we climbed the paths which lead through the park to our GZ, we enjoyed plenty of good views and wildlife. We spotted Goldfinch, Jay, Long Tailed Tit, Magpie, Wren, Coal Tit, Robin, Blue Tit and plenty of Wood Pigeons.
The cache is a small black tube, hidden under something a bit out of place. Please ensure you seal the lid carefully. Most caches in the area have become a bit soggy! Hope you enjoy!!
