Um den Bestand der Letterbox-Caches etwas zu stärken haben sich 31 Owner gefunden und für jeden Tag im Juli jeweils eine Letterbox in München und Umgebung ausgelegt. Dabei gibt es so verschiedene Ideen und Aufgaben wie wir sie von diesem Hobby kennen und lieben. Speziell zu dem Typ Letterbox, gibt es nun Aufgaben vom klassischen Peilen, der einfachen bis erweiterten Navigation und auch bis hin zum Einsatz von besonderen Tools und Techniken soll alles dabei sein und für Abwechslung sorgen.
Warum jetzt LEMI? Das setzt sich aus den Anfangsbuchstaben der LEtterbox München Initiative zusammen und so erblickte auch ein Lemming als Maskottchen das Licht der bayerischen Cacher-Welt. 
Alle Caches dieser Serie findest du mit der Suche nach "LEMI" oder in dieser Liste.
Wenn ihr die Stempel aller LEMI Letterboxen sammeln wollt, findet ihr hier eine Stempelvorlage oder auch in mancher Letterbox wird diese Stempelvorlage deponiert sein. „Achtung: Du bist dabei eine Datei herunterzuladen. Als Geocache-Owner versichere ich, dass diese Datei sicher ist und keinen unerwünschten oder gefährlichen Code enthält. Sie wurde nicht vom Geocaching Hauptquartier oder vom Reviewer überprüft“.

Die D-Wertung ist aufgrund der Muggeldichte 
Der Euro-Industriepark ist ein großräumiges Gewerbegebiet im Münchner Norden, das vor allem durch Abholgroßmärkte und Großhandelsketten geprägt ist. Er zählt zu den größten Gewerbeeinheiten der Stadt München.
Vor knapp 60 Jahren ist der Euro-Industriepark im Stadtbezirk Schwabing-Freimann entstanden - nach dem Vorbild von US-amerikanischen Industrieparks. Nun könnten zahlreiche Wohnungen entstehen südlich der ehemaligen Bayernkaserne und nördlich des Frankfurter Rings.
Geschichte:
Das Gebiet wurde von dem Kaufmann Anton Ditt von der Deutschen Bundesbahn erworben und 1963 erschlossen, zum Richtfest 1968 befanden sich bereits 40 Firmen auf dem Gelände. 1970 übernahm die Stadt München den Namen "Euro-Industriepark" als offizielle Bezeichnung.
Lage:
Der Euro-Industriepark liegt nördlich des Eisenbahn-Nordringes bzw. des Frankfurter Rings beiderseits der Ingolstädter Straße.
Südliche Erschließungsstraße des östlichen Teils ist die Schwarzhauptstraße, eine weitere Erschließungsstraße die Maria-Probst-Straße bis Helene-Wessel-Bogen. Der westliche Teil wird durch den Anton-Ditt-Bogen und die Hufelandstraße erschlossen und begrenzt.
Vom Eisenbahn-Nordring aus existierten zahlreiche Anschlussgleise zu den Firmen im Euro-Industriepark.
Daneben sind auch kleinere Gewerbeeinheiten vorhanden, die allerdings eher westlich der Ingolstädter Straße angesiedelt sind. Mehrere Autohäuser geben als Standort den Euro-Industriepark an, obwohl sie streng genommen nicht auf seinem Gebiet angesiedelt sind. Insofern sind die Grenzen des Euro-Industrieparks zumindest im allgemeinen Sprachgebrauch nicht mehr fest definiert.

Es fängt schon beim Namen an: Künftig will die Stadt nicht mehr vom "Euro-Industriepark", sondern vom "Europark" sprechen, wo in den nächsten Jahren ein neuer Stadtteil mit 5500 Wohnungen für bis zu 15 000 Menschen entsteht. Insgesamt ist der Europark 215 Hektar groß und damit halb so groß wie die gesamte Maxvorstadt. Denn aus dem riesigen Gewerbegebiet im Münchner Norden soll nach dem Willen des Stadtrats ein urbanes Quartier "mit hohem Wohnanteil und Grün- oder Sportflächen" werden. Die Gewerbeflächen sollen erhalten, aber "durch Stapelung auf weniger Grundfläche untergebracht werden". Auch Standorte für "laute Club- und Kulturangebote" und Bandproberäume.
Das Problem: Die Grundstücke sind "auf unglaublich viele Privateigentümer verteilt"
Es handele sich um ein Gebiet, das "aus der Zeit gefallen ist" und um "Flächenressourcen, die man nicht ungenutzt lassen sollte". Im Europark biete sich die Chance, die Stadt zu verdichten, "ohne Grünflächen im Außenbereich in Anspruch zu nehmen, sondern indem man Flächen entsiegelt". Zudem werde das Gebiet durch die neue Straßenbahn Richtung Bayernkaserne künftig gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar sein, auch eine S-Bahn-Anbindung über den Nordring sei denkbar.
