The Eagleton Mine Camp Trail utilizes old road and railroad grades used for mining activities in the mid 1800s. The Eagleton Coal and Iron Company built several villages for workers here. Speaking of "mine," motorists sometimes think that their cars and trucks are the only vehicles that have rights and privileges on our roadways. That couldn't be further from the truth. Did you know that motorcycles should be respected as a full-size vehicle with the same rights and privileges as any vehicle on the roadway? Motorists should allow a motorcyclist a full lane width, as motorcyclists need the room to maneuver safely in all types of road conditions.
