Lions and Tigers and Wolves, Oh My! - Rocky Branch Traditional Cache

First hide for a local cub scout den made up of Lion, Tiger, and Wolf scouts. After discovering a few Geocaches on a previous outing in the area this group of enthusiastic scouts were bit by the Geocaching bug. They decided to Do their Best and hide a cache for you in Rocky Branch Park. They've left many trinkets to share with you. If you are interested in scouting stop by trade out some trinkets and sign the Log. Please be careful when searching for the cache as their are often Bike Riding Muggles in the area. The parking area for this park is located at 103 Sacco St Belmont, NC.  Please place the cache back carefully and out of sight. 

The Rocky Branch Trail is a 1.25 mile enhanced natural surface trail that is a part of the 55 acre Rocky Branch Park. The park is a result of fantastic collaboration between the cities of Belmont and Cramerton as well as other partners including the Tarheel Trailblazers and the Carolina Thread Trail. Trail users can expect to enjoy a stroll under a beautifully shaded heritage trail canopy that extends from Belmont to Cramerton behind the Stuart Cramer High School. A number of single track mountain bike trails extend off of this beautiful trail segment which offer opportunities for cyclists of various experience levels to enjoy.
