Whilst out cycling I've spotted a number of suitable places to places caches. So I am going to start placing a few on my bike rides to create a series called Cycle Caches. Each one should be accessible via road, track, bridleway or sometimes rural footpaths. To give you an idea of terrain: those containing RB are best suited to Road Bikes and the ones containing MB are more suited to Mountain Bikes. They can also all be done with a combination of driving and walking. This one is just off a footpath on the edge of Belstead woods. It's quite a walk fromt he nearest parking spots but there are several other caches hidden in these woods.
The bluebells in this part of the wood are amazing in March-April. The whole area is a blur of purpley blue. The cache is just off the path so please tread carefully so as not to stand on the bluebells. When on the path look to the edge of the wood and you will see a multi trucked tree.
You are looking for a plastic screw top container about the size of a jam jar.
