We placed these caches mostly along the mountain bike trail that follows the Red River. Djpizza had some along this trail and had trouble with them getting flooded out so I teamed with Djpizza assiting to give it another go.Be prepared, you will need insect repellent, long pants, and closed toe shoes. Be watchful for the trail is littered with debris from the flooding. As always in Louisiana, there could be snakes, spiders, ticks and poisonous plants around. Some of these you can drive close to but most you will have to hike or bike to, the bike is the recommended way to get them. Otherwise park at the posted parking coordinates. Do not attempt these caches from the road. These coordinates were set with a Garmin etrex 30 gps so I don't know how close you can get using a smart phone. Be careful while on the trail and do not attempt these at night. Have fun and enjoy 'Rollin' on the Riisng Red.' I almost rolled in the river putting this one as the trail gets very narrow.
