This is cache #5 in the Dexter Parks and Rec Series. This is my first Multi-cache as well. It does involve a field puzzle which will require you to collect information at couple different sites to obtain the coordinates for final cache. Final cache is an ammo can with room for swag and trackables. We hope you enjoy this hunt.
Coordinate set 1 will take you to one of Dexters well maintained and heavily used parks. In the center of the park, you will located the veterans memorial plaque to obtain information for A, B, and C.
A - First number of the day in May that the memorial was erected.
B- Last number in the year the memorial was erected.
C - Last number of the post # that was responsible for dedicating this memorial.
Now its off to Coordinate Set #2 where you will retrieve D, E, F, and G. Upon arrival, you will locate a 3 pillar memorial that is made out of black granite and has an eagle on top of the center pillar.
D - The horizontal granite which holds the pillars tells who the memorial is to. The number of letters in the second word plus 1 will get you "D".
E - The number of letters in the word that describes the sacrifice made.
F - The last number in the year of the memorial minus 1 will get you "F"
G - Center column, last word of second line, number of letters.
Once you have solved the field puzzle just punch those numbers into your mapping system and you will find the cache.
