This spot is on the way to a little known area here at the lake....A hidden picnic area which is also the home of the Kererū (NZ Wood Pigeon) and Tui's see if you can hear them or other native birds whooshing around while you are visiting here.
Please watch your young children here as there can be lots of water around after bad weather and also the lake edge is not far away.
