Welcome to our Cache!
This cache will have you looking around a large cemetary. We walked around the whole place before deciding on a spot, and it is worth the walk to take in the surroundings. You can look for the basket headstones, which on closer inspection seem to be meant to be a basket of flowers... but we were coming up with theories about the reason for them... like was it supposed to be a bassinet for a baby grave? Was it an ancestor of the Lonaberger family? But nope, just flowers. Also there are some double sided headstones which was strange. Also, you can go to the back left of the path and high five the saint.
ANYways, you are looking for a small box that is larger than a micro and smaller than most "small" containers. It blends in to its surroundings, so it won't likely be a quick find. If you get stuck, check out the hint. If the coordinates are accurate enough, it will help a lot.
The majority of our caches will have a pencil and a sharpener in them if we can get them to fit, though they might fall out or get taken, so always remember to bring a writing utensil with you!
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to look for our cache. We are dedicated to improving the quality and quantity of caches in New Martinsville and the surrounding areas. We have planned quite a few interesting ones and I'm always looking for new ways to make this hobby truly enjoyable. It may be an old trend, but we are just now getting into it and are hoping to breathe new life into GeoCaching in the area.
Also, as of April 2022, we have had more than half of our caches vandalized and many had to be archived. We hope that it was not a geocacher and were instead just muggles with no sense of respect or decency. Please make sure that you only approach the caches when you are not being watched, as it seems curiosity kills the cache. Thank you!
