French's Trail is the Newest trail in the Shelton, CT open space trails system. We have been given permission from the City of Shelton trails committee to create this geocache trail. The trails are open sunrise until sundown. Please be respectful of that. This is a 1.2 mile loop trail. There is plenty to see. Lots of flora and fauna, sightings along the trail of deer and wild turkeys.
As this is a new trail they are still working on improving it. Currently, after it has rained the trail is muddy.
This is the first cache in the 8 cache trail series. The first cache is handicap accessible but the majority of the trail is not accessible.
No caches will be hidden in any of the rock walls that you see along the trail,
Bring your own pen as most of the caches on this trail are to small for a pen.
