Yoo Hoo! No sauna here, you have wandered over to the Brearley Oak a huge black oak between 200-400 years old.
Learn more about the oak at the sign placed by the Lawrence Hopewell Trail [https://lhtrail.org/] or here on their site [https://lhtrail.org/lht-history/lht-historic-site-brearley-oak/]
Many times it's easy just to drive past and not think about the trees lining the road you drive on a daily basis but this cache is a great way to force a short walking trip to the tree.
It is tempting to make this a park and grab, but DO NOT PARK ON PRINCETON PIKE. During the day it is a busy road and in the evening you run the risk of being hit if you pull over as there is no formal shoulder.
Cache container has a magnet in it to help it stay in its location.
This cache has been placed thanks to the permission of the LHT and Bristol Meyers Squibb.
