TRAIL
Take a nice walk from "Mala korita" (the small Soča Troughs) to the hamlet Na Skali (At the Cliff). No, don't use the road, take the old trail that has been used by the locals before the road from the valley has been built. A significant part of the trail is a footpath or mule track through shady forest. The upper part of the trail is a wonderfully scenic walk along the cliff edge.
To return to the valley, you can use the mule track at first - just below the cache SH0 (also WP7) mule track branches off from the trail you climbed and leads north, above the trail. While the trail descends a bit steeper in some places, the mule track descends the slope with a larger number of serpentines. The mule track meets the trail at the location of the "Mulatjera / Mule Track" cache.
MULE TRACK BEND
The cache is located at the place where the forest path and an old mule track meet. In the time before the development of motor vehicles and for some time after that, mule tracks represented a "highway" transport system in mountainous areas. The better-built ones were a wonderful engineering achievement and enabled the transport of larger quantities of material and heavier equipment to otherwise hard-to-reach areas. It is therefore not surprising that in the Alps most of them were built for the needs of the army.
Here you can admire how accurate they were in building bends of the track. For the path to climb evenly, the bend which led over a slightly lower part of the slope was simply built up to the appropriate height. A tall stone wall was needed on the outer edge of the bend. If you climbed on the mule track itself, you could also see the remains of the lower retaining wall on the inside of the bend. Between the two of them, the track was filled-in with gravel, levelled, and paved with larger stones.
The cache is NOT hidden in a stone wall! Rather than disturb the wall, use a hint, and a spoiler photo.

POT
Odpravite se na lep sprehod od Malih korit Soče do Vasi Na Skali. Ne po cesti, temveč po stari poti, ki so jo domačini uporabljali preden je iz doline nad Skalo" segla cesta. Večji del poti poteka po senčnih gozdnih stezah, zadnji del poti proti cestnemu ovinku z zakladom SH0 je čudovito razgleden sprehod skozi gozd, po poti ob robu skalne stene.
Za vrnitev v dolino lahko na zgornjem delu uporabite mulatjero. Na ovinku z zakladom SH0 (tudi točka poti WP7) se odcepi od steze po kateri ste se vzpeli, in vodi severno nad stezo. Medtem ko se steza mestoma spušča nekoliko bolj strmo, mulatjera strmino premaga z večjim številom okljukov - pri enem od njih je skrit iskani zaklad.
OVINEK NA MULATJERI
Zaklad je postavljen ob stičišču gozdne steze in stare mjulatjere. V času pred razvojem motornih vozil in še nekaj časa po tem so mulatjere predstavljale "avtocestni" transportni sistem goratih območij. Tiste, bolje zgrajene, so bile čudovit inženirski dosežek in so omogočale transport večjih količin materiala in težje opreme na sicer težko dostopne predele. Zatorej ni čudno, da so jih v Alpah največ zgradili za potrebe vojske.
Na tem mestu lahko občudujete kako natančni so bili pri gradnjah ovinkov. Da niso zgubljali višine in se je pot enakomerno vzpenjala, so ovinek, speljan preko nekoliko nižjega dela pobočja, pozidali do ustrezne višine. Na zunanjem robu ovinka je tako nastal kar mogočen oporni kamniti zid. Če se vzpnete na sam ovinek, je tudi na notranji strani zavoja viden ostanek nižjega opornega zidu, med obema pa so pot nasuli, zravnali in jo tlakovali z večjimi kamni.
Zaklad se NE skriva v kamnitem zidu! Zid pustite lepo pri miru in morda le napravite kako fotografijo.
