CITO at Sandy Run
TUESDAY evening May 31st, 6-7 pm
Time for a clean-up on the Sandy Run Park boardwalk! Come ready to spend an hour and help us pick up trash after the holiday weekend - we will plan to walk the trail to the end and back, and also clean up around the slide area. Remember to wear gloves and work shoes, and don't forget your sunscreen and bug spray. I will bring trash bags, and I'll have water bottles for us to keep cool.
(There has been some graffiti spray-painted on the boardwalk, so we may try to clean that off as part of our effort - we are looking at environmentally-friendly options. Elbow grease may be the only answer!)
The City of WR has been generous with allowing us to place geocaches in area parks, so let's join together and show our thanks with a caching clean-up. Attendees will receive the Season 1 CITO souvenir!
If you are new to caching: CITO stands for "Cache In, Trash Out" - this event is a time for cachers to work together to clean up our outdoor play place!
If you haven't attended an event in a long while: come on out - we've missed you!
If you are new to the Middle Georgia area: events are a great way to meet fellow cachers!
