This is part of a growing "Magic Cacheabout" series Cachers of a certain age will appreciate this one we hope.
The Magic Roundabout was a seminal children's series of shorts origanally produced in France in 1963. The BBC adapted it with a wonderfully whimsical narration by the great Eric Thompson. Some of our earliest memories are watching this psychedelic masterpiece and it was, in its day, beloved not only by young children but also by many adults who the English writer had very much in mind when putting pen to paper. If you haven't checked this series out; which is very much the product of its time, it is highly recommended.
The cache is of the humblest retro-construction. Again this one is placed in a hidden away green area which will probably be only familar to those who are hyper-local to it.
