Gibraltar is one of sixteen 'British Overseas Territories', formerly known as 'Crown Colonies'. Unlike the commonwealth realm, they have not become independent nations, but everyone born here is a British Citizen, much like the crown dependencies.
Both stages of this geocache were placed with express permission from BLM. We have permission to hike here but not to bring motorized vehicles off established roads. Plenty of water, gaiters, and good hiking shoes recommended.
