Rembrandt's Mystery Quest
The lost painting
The goal of this Quest is to find out more details about the fifth painting, the Allegory of Taste. All you know is that the painting below from Adriaen van Nieulandt contains a hidden clue. The artwork, which Van Nieulandt painted in 1633, is on display in the Amsterdam Museum nearby (https://hart.amsterdam/nl/collectie/object/amcollect/38025).
To solve the Quest you need to do the following:
1) Use the walkthrough and the map from 1649 to find the four "anno" years (representing numbers A-P)
2) Use the numbers A-P in combination with the 1649 map to locate the focus (focal) point
3) At the focus point, look out for the white tower and gateway nearby, where the coordinates (Q-V) for the end cache are hidden
4) Find out more details about the Allegory of Taste at the end cache
