You will find this cache at the Intersection of Lines drawn by the following points:
A. N42° 30.373' W073° 45.757'
B. N42° 30.071' W073° 46.767'
C. N42° 30.470' W073° 46.634'
D. N42° 29.974' W073° 45.890'
To make this a D2 for more seasoned puzzlers: Cache location is equidistant from both points A and B. Can you solve with only two coordinates? (If using Geocaching Toolbox, N+.001 should pass the checker.)
How to for beginners:
- If you are using a smart phone, find “Intersection of Lines” on GeocachingToolbox.com and follow the instructions. You may then want to copy and paste the resulting coordinates as corrected coordinates on the cache page or manually add the result as a waypoint via your geocaching app. (This solving method on Geocaching Toolbox should pass the checker.)
- If you are using a handheld GPSr, such as a Garmin, find the “Create Route” feature and set a route that goes from Point A to B to C to D, then save the route. Bring the route up on the map and zoom in to the intersection that the lines formed. Drop a point (often just by touching the screen) as close to the intersection as possible.
- If your lines don’t intersect near a trail inside SISP, then check your input.
There may be a little error in either method, so you may need to search a little wider, use your geosenses, or use the hint to make the find.
