Welcome to M'Shell Game - The Redux Edition!
You know the ol' Shell Game? You know, the one where something is hidden under one of three shells and you have to guess which one is the right shell?
Well, this is like that...but, in OUR case, there's something hidden in EACH of the three shells that represent the stages of this multi-cache! At Shell (stage) 1, you'll find the coordinates and hint for Shell (stage) 2...and at Shell (stage) 2, you'll find the coordinates and hint for the Final Shell. You can give the credit to snails, who may move slowly but who have an impeccable sense of direction...almost as if they have a GPS (Global Positioning Snailallite) built into their antennae!
You will be walking along a little-known nature trail. When the trail hosted the original M'Shell Game, there were gorgeous yellow flowers with a subtle cotton-candy-like scent, banana trees and much more lushness. While recent bulldozing actiivities took much of that greenery away, it's still a short and pleasant walk...less than half a mile...and you are still likely to see multiple birds of different species if you keep your eye out. (Some local birders make this a regular trail for bird-watching.) Take your time...enjoy the journey!
We strongly recommend that you park at the recommended parking coordinates along SW 102 Avenue and walk the stages from there.
Note that you cannot claim your smiley until you've located and signed the log...get yer fingers ready for some internal shell probing!
