UEDA castle 上田城公園#5
Ueda Castle, built by Masayuki Sanada in 1583,
is an impregnable castle that repelled the Tokugawa army twice in the first and second Ueda battles.
The Ueda Castle Senbon Sakura Festival is held in the spring,
and the Ueda Castle Autumn Leaves Festival is held in the fall.
Currently, the Shinshu Ueda Sanada Maru Taiga Drama Hall is located next to it,
and it is crowded with tourists as the main tourist destination of Shinshu Ueda.

天正11年（1583）真田昌幸によって築城された上田城は、
第一次・第二次上田合戦で徳川軍を二度にわたり撃退した難攻不落の城。
春は上田城千本桜まつり・秋には上田城紅葉まつりが行われ、
現在は信州上田真田丸大河ドラマ館が併設しており、
信州上田の主たる観光地として観光客でにぎわいます。
