HYKE AROUND HYKEHAM 10
This event will be held in and around Hykeham Memorial Hall, 317 Newark Rd, North Hykeham, Lincoln LN6 9RY on Sunday 4th September 2022, 12.00pm to 4.00pm.
Meet up with old friends and make new ones too. It is suitable for all; young, old, families and couples.
There is ample free, off road parking surrounding the venue which may also be in use by people using the sports field. If the car park is full there is lots of room on the car park at the rear of Richmond Medical Centre (see additional waypoint)
The Amasons will provide tea, coffee and squash to quench your thirst.
There are a number of caches in Hykeham and in the surrounding countryside if you fancy a short hike (Hyke – get it?).
It is hoped to publish a set of lab caches to coincide with this event. FTF for the event will be drawn from the obligatory canister, so bring a card with your caching name on it.
There will be a raffle, a clever cache competition, (bring yours along) the start of a TB race and several geocaching suppliers will hopefully attend. The raffle will be drawn at 3.30pm and due to the size of some of the prizes, you will need to be present to claim them. If you aren’t there, the raffle will be drawn again until someone does.
There will also be Travel Bugs and Geocoins to discover. Feel free to bring yours with you.
There are no dogs allowed in the Hall but there is ample space nearby to exercise any dogs present.
