Seed collecting on the Mound at Horsbere
Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (alternative parking).
Where: Meet by the main gate at 0930 (alternative parking coords) or find us on The Mound (published coords), look for the flag.
What: Join us harvesting wildflower seeds from The Mound to plant later in the season in Cliff's Wood.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools if necessary. Drop by if you have any time to spare and don't worry about not knowing what to do - none of us do, but the ranger will set us straight!
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
You may wish to bring gloves, but shoudn't need them and maybe something to kneel or sit on.
Please make sure you bring along your own refreshments as it can be thirsty work!
