Often when I'm geocaching, the end result differs somewhat from my original plan. Similar to the story of the LaKretz Multi-modal LA River Crossing:
Originally intended as a "gift" to LA from Morton La Kretz, the project began as a way of trying to help the area’s horse riders cross the river safely from stables in Atwater Village to Griffith Park and back. The end product, said Councilman Mitch O’Farrell, who represents the Atwater side of the bridge, turned out to be somewhat more opulent than many in the neighborhood expected. “So here we are... with a $16.12-million bridge that the community didn’t really ask for,” O’Farrell said at a hearing on the project in 2017. ~LA TImes
Be that as it may, this multi-modal structure (equestrian, pedestrian and cyclist) actually does have the occasional user cross its rather expensive surface. In 2017, the Los Angeles City Council approved the construction of the bridge. The bridge was constructed at a cost of $16.1 million, with about 75% of the total costs borne by taxpayer funds, supplemented with fundraising efforts led by River LA. The city's budgetary estimates in 2012 had projected that the bridge would cost $4.67 million. ~Wikipedia
Cache is a log-only former mint tin, strongly attracted to the host. You'll need your own writing implement to document your visit.
