Russel Boltz Private Eye and the Strange Case of the Angry 8-Ball

This once proud Magic 8-Ball has been kidnapped and stripped of the ability to do the one thing he loves, predicting the future. Instead the 8-Ball has been relegated to answering a single question: "Will you give me the secret code?" all while being imprisoned in a wooden birdhouse of dubious construction. To top it off, he has been separated from his true love, the beautiful Magic 8-Ball from the rival 9-Ball gang. An angry 8-Ball indeed.

He also guards a geocache. If you want to log it your job is to ask the question "Will you give me the secret code?" and press the silver button. If the 8-Ball is feeling generous you will have the answer, but it is a very rare day when the 8-Ball is feeling generous. Don't worry though, persistence is key. Ask the exact same question each time then press the silver button. Eventually the 8-Ball will tire of your silly game and relent, because sleep is more important.

About this final - it will become obvious that only one person (or two at most) will be able to operate/manipulate this cache at a time and still have fun. If the group is larger than that it is suggested to take turns and whoever is operating the cache read out loud the Angry 8-Ball's responses. When the 8-Ball relents, have the next cacher (or two) press the black reset button which will call the 8-Ball forth again. Who knows - you may hear something different!
