I had so much fun solving dnnsgps's mystery geocache (GC3Y3A2) in Utica, that I decided to try to recreate a similar mystery for you to solve!
Many prominent Romans are interred in the Rome Cemetery and it will be your job to research the notable residents and find their graves. Below you will find 10 descriptions of individuals buried within the cemetery. Your task is to (1) identify each person based on their description, (2) find their grave, and (3) collect the information requested in the clue while at the grave site.
Once you have collected the necessary information, you will use the following to calcuate the coordinates of the cache container. Each letter below will need to be changed to the number that you calculated for the clue.
N43 AB.CDE, W75 FG.HIJ
This geocache was hidden with the permission of the Rome Cemetery Association. They have requested that you are respectful of the cemetery and don't damage the property or graves on your hunt. Please respect the cemetery hours as well as the surrounding area if there are burials occuring. Additionally, there is no need for you to touch, move, or do anything to any of the grave sites.
As a friendly reminder, please be aware of any potential nearby muggles when you are trying to obtain the cache container. The container is large enough for you to bring items to trade or trackables to move along!
