A lovely little trail through the fynbos vegetation along a dune path with sweeping sea views!
The cache can be found after a leisurely walk of about 10-15 minutes. It is a well camouflaged bison tube container with only a logsheet, so BRING YOUR OWN PEN please! For parking refer to Waypoints below.
Along the way you will come out on top by the cellphone tower (or you park there straight away). You may want to rest and take in the gorgeous 180 degree view onto the ocean from the bench that is marked by Waypoint 3. From here continue past the tower on its left, down onto the dune path again to reach GZ soon after passing another bench at the bottom.
Enjoy the walk through the dunes - there is always something to discover if you take the time!

If you decide to do the complete loop hike, that would is a 4.2 km loop which takes you over the vegetated coastal dunes and after some up and down with lovely seaviews along the way you will eventually exit onto the beach between Buffalo Bay and Brenton. You complete the loop by walking back along the beach, a short stretch through the village and along the Buffalo Bay Road back to the Parking. It should take you around 1.5 - 2 hours for the complete round.
Take sufficient water, sunscreen and a hat - it can get pretty hot in summer and there is usually no breeze as it is fairly sheltered in the forest and valleys there!
