Geocache Description:

Sunflowers and Birds (3 of 4)

This is a Letterbox Cache

Letterbox hybrid is another form of cache that uses a logbook and a rubber stamp. The outhouse stamp and logbook remain in the letterbox cache for the next visitor to use. I've started this letterbox with ink but please know, it will freeze and over the years become useless. So bring your own ink and pencil. Cache is big enough for swag. Perhaps you didn't know I had an artistic side.

When folks find the container, they stamp their personal stamp and also stamp their own notebook from the letter box they visit. Hybrid letterbox owner may make their container both a letterbox and a geocache with posted coordinates. Bring your own unique stamp and your logbook. If you don't have a stamp, you can still write in the logbook that you found it. You will need to walk about 10 feet from the coords and look near ten trees. I wonder why there is a Scrabble letter attached.

Secure the cache properly so this doesn’t turn into a bee’s nest and leave outhouse stamp behind. This series of 4 caches was placed using electric mobility scooters with thick tree canopy. Two GPS were used in this plant. No hitch hikers collected along the route. May not be winter friendly. Form submitted and details provided to the reviewer. There is a 5th Bonus Cache, only available to those who are observant enough to see the details in this series.

If you've forgotten your pen, you can submit a photo.

Near the trail entrance is an area of yard decorations (back yard) which change with the seasons. We stopped and chatted with the owners and the couple truly enjoys decorating this part of the trail for other to view with their eyes. Each item in their garden has a special meaning.

Education FYI - also watch area geo dogs for "log the dog" tags on their collars.  Usually these dog tags are too small to see so snap a photo and record at a later date.  Watch area geo mobiles as they too may have a log the mobile tag on it.
