After a successful outing at Deep Run Park in June, it's time to move on to Forest Hill Park! Another outdoor event, another gazebo, right? Let's meet right in the heart of the park overlooking the small pond in the center of things. This will be a T1.5 due to the hilly nature of getting to the center of the park.
As with the event at Deep Run last month, in the event of a light rain, the event will go on as planned. But a heavier forecast means I'll move it to one of the pavilions in the park, in which case I'll reduce the T to a 1.0. Either way, I plan to make this event happen rain or shine (unless the rain is due to hurricane remnants or severe thunderstorms).
As with the Deep Run event, I know weekdays are hard for some folks. I hope to do a weekend event in the fall at some point! Hope to see some of you there!
