I used to love to play the game BATTLESHIP when I was a boy. Here is a large scale Geocaching version of the game (sort of). I first saw this in Vermont and Rhode Island. This version does not use the 100 square peg board. This version has been reduced to 64. You can use a piece of graph paper as a game board if you want. 1-8 across and A-H vertically. If you find a container with an X and/or number on it then you have hit a ship. Record the X on your grid if you want and keep track of that number you will need it to find the final location of the ship you need to sink.
Almost all the containers are micro containers, many are painted sage color. Most are not winter friendly. TOTT (tweezers) would be helpful for many. BYOP and please replace as found.
Enjoy and thank you for visiting another Geo-Mule Geocache.
YOU SUNK MY BATTLESHIP!!
