Have you ever looked up at the stars and wondered at the twinkling display? Have you ever pondered about them and our cosmic insignificance, and what our place in this vast universe truly is? Well, I have. The stars have fascinated me since a young age, and my parents decided to encourage my passion by taking me to public nights at a local observatory to look through all the telescopes they would set up there. I started going regularly, and with the help of a star guide, I was an expert on the night sky and could identify all the major constellations AND points of interest in them (binary stars, nebulas, galaxies, etc). My parents even got me my own telescope so I could do some backyard stargazing! I loved going out on clear nights - especially in the winter time, as it's the best time for stargazing - and looking through the telescope to see what I could find.
One night, I went out alone to look through the telescope, and then a piece of paper came out of nowhere! It was like it fell from the sky. On it, there were some scribbled notes I could barely make out. I saw it and knew immediately what I had to do, and ran inside to look at the star guide...
