This is a park and grab but not if you want to stop and play disc golf, play on the playgound or go for a walk up the trail.
The area is kid and dog friendly with a porta poty that I often stop and use on my route. Personally I think the area is too spread out. There used to be concrete benches for people to sit on, but over time they've been removed. It's a challenge for grandparents to find a place to sit and watch as the yougens play. Shade is hard to come by. This area just isn't used much because, I believe, the park plan needs improvement. Stockton has the land but, well, you go out into the park and tell me your opinion. BYOP. According to geocaching rules, you must sign the paper log in order to obtain credit for the find.
Rumor has it that a plethora of caches may be popping up in this area. It takes time to work them through, submit, rewrite, fill out forms, get approval from everyone, etc. Good on ya mate. So glad more caches are inbound.
