Horsbere Reserve Improvement
Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coordinates, from where there is a footbridge to bring you over to Horsbere Brook Reserve. Or if there is space, you can park by the main gates leading in to the Reserve (alternative parking coordinates).
Where: Meet up by the main gate to the Reserve at 09:30 (alternative parking coordinates). Or find us along the track beyond the gravel mound, which is just inside the main gateway.
What: Join us as we further improve the Reserve by distributing and raking gravel around gateways and bench footings around the site.
How: Tools will be provided and the Countryside Ranger will be present to provide guidance as necessary. Join us if you have any time to spare, there will be a variety of tasks to suit everyone. Please bring your own gloves.
Health & Safety: The session will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
It can be thirsty work this time of year, so remember to bring water and refreshments for breaktime (cake will be provided!)
