So you are driving the backroads of a lovely area in southern Kentucky. You admire the beautiful barns, the sloping hills, the sturdy board fence and you literally come to a Fork in the Road! No nearby restaurant's gimmick. Not one you will use for lunch, but one designed and engineered by the Franklin Simpson High School welding class.
The fork was erected in early May 2018, and built by the senior welding class of Franklin-Simpson High School. Made of stainless steel, it's 21 feet tall, weighs 680 pounds, and is anchored with a ton of concrete.
Make sure you visit The Cuttung Edge of Franklin just down the road. Fun times!
