This one would not be a good one to do from the highway. Enjoy the view
When I was out caching I noticed this trail running from north to south along the west side of Highway 35, I assume it was the original route of #35 back in the day. I think it currently serves as a trail for off-road vehicles. Bikes, ATV’s , dirt-bikes and probably snowmobiles. I saw no vehicles or hikers on the trail when placing the caches. There are some caches that can be reached from the newer roadway but most will be much harder if you are not on the trail. I will try to make note when it is possible to easily access from the main road. It is better to stick to the trail to avoid nasty bushwhacks and poison ivy.
Be sure not to block access to driveways along the route and try not to arouse suspicion of nearby residents.
There are 23 caches along a 5 km stretch from Ballyduff Rd to Concession Rd 3 .Depending on your mode of transportation you may want to park at the following places.
I suggest parking at Waite road N 44 07.415 W 078 38.684 . This is a good spot to go north for caches 1 to 6 and south to do caches 7 to 12.
Then move to parking at N 44 06.533 W 078 38.274 to complete caches 13 through 19. Caches 20 to 23 can be done as park and grabs but you will have to be aware of passing cars on the busy road way.
