The Tiger Rail Trail Walk is a 5km walking trail that's co-shared with bikes and horses. It's a really great place to walk with children or the dog (on lead) as it's a wide all-weather track, away from the road except at both ends and allows for lots of users without being run over by people in lycra bike shorts!
The trail meanders along the old railway formation, from south of Barwon Downs and on to Forrest. The trail’s “Tiger” moniker comes from the days when trains stopped running between the towns. A converted Dodge sedan, painted black and yellow, ferried passengers instead.
The cache is near the end towards Barwon Downs on the part of the path that is almost flat.
The Trail Guardian is a happy fellow, but he doesn't have room for swaps or a pen.
