È ormai diventata una tradizione celebrare l'International Geocaching Day con un buon gelato sulla Piazza di Ascona.
Oltre a ricevere il souvenir, sarà un'occasione per incontrare amici geocacher e conoscere nuovi appassionati.

Cosa facciamo
Scambiamo quattro chiacchiere e naturalmente chi vuole può prendere un gelato in una delle gelaterie della zona (il waypoint indica quella che ritengo migliore, ma ce ne sono altre se preferite). Sarà anche un'occasione per scambiarci opinioni ed esperienze sul nostro passatempo preferito. Si potranno scambiare TB e coin. Ovviamente può firmare il logbook anche chi non mangia il gelato...
Come arrivare
Per chi arriva con la propria macchina ho indicato due parcheggi a pagamento (purtroppo i parcheggi gratuiti sono cosa rara ad Ascona e sono lontani dal nucleo). Per chi arriva con i mezzi pubblici, GZ è a 5 minuti a piedi dalle fermate del bus "Ascona Centro" o "Ascona Borgo".

Al momento non ci sono particolari misure dettate dalle autorità federali o cantonali. Se da oggi al giorno dell'evento la situazione dovesse mutare, sarete informati. Si invita comunque chi dovesse presentare sintomi compatibili con il COVID-19 a non partecipare all'evento

What we will do
We chat and of course whoever wants can have an ice cream at one of the ice cream shops in the area (the waypoint indicates the one I think is best, but there are others if you prefer). It will also be an opportunity to exchange opinions and experiences about our favourite hobby. TBs and coins can be exchanged. Of course, anyone who doesn't eat ice cream can also sign the logbook...
How to get there
For those arriving by car, I have indicated two paying parkings (unfortunately free parkings are very few in Ascona and are far from the centre). For those arriving by public transport, GZ is a 5-minute walk from the "Ascona Centro" or "Ascona Borgo" bus stops.
