The old Veazy dam is gone.
I think it looks better now! A few structure still remain on both sides of the river. If you have found my Riverside Park GC9J0PX you will find the the locations were connected by a huge cable.
On Riverside Drive turn onto Monument Drive. At the powerline turn East onto the dirt road. Park at the trail head coordinates and take trail to the right. Take the turn off trail towards the river to the East. No need to climb the fences or go onto posted areas.
