This is our second train spotter cache. We have chosen this location because it is a excellent viewing spot to come and watch freight trains and passenger trains come and pass by right underneath your feet. Although we do recommend to hold your breath when a freight train passes underneath you.
also please do not through things at the trains as it is highly dangerous towards you and the people on board the train! Thank you 😊.
let us tell you some information about the trains that pass by.
fact 1 - the most common type of passenger trains to pass through this station is the Tangara set (T set) and the Oscar set (H set).
fact 2 - did you know that there is a new set and fleet of trains coming to our T4 line? The name of the train set is the (D set) and the name of the trains is (NIF).

(Middle photo) 2nd locomotive is PacNat 8146.
(Bottom photo) 3rd locomotive is PacNat 8171 and last locomotive is PacNat 8124.
This train was carrying FreightCorp grain wagons and AWB grain wagons which was heading down south and the train was also passing through Sutherland train station on platform 2.
