IT La Val Alpisella è una piccola valle alpina a nord della Valtellina in Lombardia, da dove nasce il fiume Adda. Comunica con la valle di Fraele, dove sorgono le dighe di Cancano, e la valle di Livigno con l'omonimo passo di Alpisella a quota 2285m. Oltre il passo in direzione Livigno scorre il torrente Vallaccia, che fa quindi parte del bacino dello Spöl. La cima più alta che delimita il bacino idrografico è il Pizzo del Ferro che raggiunge i 3.031m di quota.

EN Val Alpisella is a small alpine valley north of the Valtellina in Lombardy, where the Adda river originates. It communicates with the Fraele valley, where the Cancano dams rise, and the Livigno valley with the Alpisella pass of the same name at an altitude of 2285m. Beyond the pass towards Livigno flows the Vallaccia stream, which is therefore part of the Spöl basin. The highest peak that delimits the hydrographic basin is Pizzo del Ferro which reaches 3.031m of altitude.
