Mora Lasarett invigdes 1912 och har sedan dess utvecklats till ett av länets två akutsjukhus och har upptagningsområdet Norra och Västra Dalarna.
Lasarettet har genom sitt geografiska läge en särställning i länet vad gäller turismen. Detta gör att under säsong är trycket mycket stort och den största delen av regionens vårdtillfällen till utomläns och utomlandspatienter sker vid Mora Lasarett.
Mora Lasarett har cirka 1000 anställda och här finns förutom akutmottagning och operationsavdelning även cirka 150 vårdplatser samt diverse mottagningar.
Mora Hospital was opened in 1912 and has since then been developed into one of the county´s two emergency hospitals and has the catchment area of north and west Dalarna.
Due to its geographical location the hospital has a special position in the county in terms of the influx of tourists. Thos means that during the season the preassure is very high and most of the care opportunities give to out of count and out of country patients in Dalarna take place at the hospital in Mora.
Mora Hospital has about 1000 employees and in addition to the Emergency department and Operation there are about 150 hospital beds.
