Last year's picnic was a Community Celebration which drew a large crowd including several geocachers from out of town and even out of the country. This 8th edition of the (usually) annual get-together will return to its humble event format. Nonetheless, embrace the opportunity to escape the inland heat and come on down to Old Town for lunch with geo-friends.

We'll meet at the tables under the pine trees. Bring your own food -- a sack lunch, take-out, something to share(?), whatever you like. Or just come to socialize. We can trade TBs and talk story. Unfortunately I'll need to get back to work after an hour or so, but you're welcome to stay as long as your heart desires.

GZ is a pleasant location with picnic tables, ample shade, and a good-sized, gently-sloping grass area suitable for soccer, bocce ball, frisbee, or croquet (bring your own toys). Great for kids and dogs (on a leash). There are various other caches in the vicinity for your searching and finding amusement.

Parking available on-street nearby (Cosoy Way) or at the Presidio itself.

SPECIAL HEALTH INSTRUCTIONS: If you are sick, please stay home and do not participate. If necessary, maintain 6' physical distancing and/or wear a mask as needed. Protect yourself (and others) while you enjoy the fun of geo-socialization. Please provide your own sun protection, water, snacks, gloves, mask, and hand sanitizer as needed.
