Description:
Geocachers of all ages are welcome to come along to the Geocaching Downunder World Record event, to be held on Saturday the 20th of August on International Geocaching Day. The event will be at Sunshine Reserve, Chittaway Point.
There is a children's playground for the kids, toilets, a covered seating area with BBQ’s and plenty of parking.
There will be a free sausage sizzle, just bring your own drinks and if you would like to bring a plate of something to share for the table.
I will be hosting some world record attempts on the day with prizes awarded for the winners.
Are You Up For The Challenge
The world record attempts we will be attempting are:
*** Eating the most smarties blindfolded with chopsticks in 60 seconds
*** Tallest mint tin tower constructed in 30 seconds
*** Putting the most socks on one foot in 30 seconds (BYO Socks)
You don’t have to participate in the world record attempts to attend. Just come along, make new friends or chat to old ones, swap stories and trackables. You may even get a hint to that tricky puzzle you have been trying to solve.
So if you're up for some fun and laughter come along and we will help break the world record for the most cachers logging a find/attending an event on a single day.
