Geocache Description:

Being from Florida, I have found Texas food to be extremely interesting. Some of it delicious, some not so much, some that I'm still unsure of, and some that is way too spicy for my bland Florida tastebuds. I know it's hard to believe, but there are places that don't have TexMex restaurants, don't go crazy for Crawfish (we call them Crayfish in Florida), and don't put barbecue or hot sauce on everything! I know, I know... all the Texans reading this are horrified and hereby swearing off any future trip to my home state.

I have found that here in the Houston area,  you can find any and every type of food you can imagine. I have tried food here that I had never tried (and sometimes, never heard of) before. My waistline can attest to the fact that I have enjoyed many of the foods offered here in the great state of Texas. I have decided to dedicate a line of caches around some of my favorite new foods.

This cache is for the delicious, mouthwatering taste of TexMex that I have come to love while in Houston. We have Mexican food in BACK home, but TexMex is where it's at! The queso, the fajitas, the tacos... oh, I'm craving now, just writing this! Yum! Find out what is my favorite TexMex when you find the cache - sadly we do not have this food chain where I am from!  I might have to PIPE the queso to my home.... I wonder if it tastes good shipped? LOL

Stealth is required - watch for muggles coming and going. Parking can be done in the parking lot in close to the cache, then a short walk to the cache. Please bring your own pen and return exactly as found. (Make sure to place the log back in the little green sleeve so it is easy to grab and sign.) Thank you and enjoy.

[Also, drop the name of your favorite TexMex when you log your find. Let's see what real Texans eat! Plus, I'm always game to try new foods and who knows better than the locals on where to eat! LOL]

**** Congratulations to CaveatObservator for the FTF - glad we were able to discuss colors.  Haha! ****
