Sports are TUBE-ular dude... I was on the FENCE about placing a cache here, but it was cacheless and is a sports park that didn't have a cache, so I felt that I had to fix that.
This sports park looks like it may also be shared with the middle school next to it. The multipurpose field can accommodate football, soccer, and track. It was open to the public in the day I was there, but no need to go inside for the cache. The park surrounding it also has a community pool, a basketball court, a baseball field, a playground, and picnic tables to ensure a great family outing.
Parking can be done close to the sports parks, on the side of the road. You are looking for a small bison tube. The top is attached to its hiding place, but you can easily unscrew the bottom and get to the log. Beware of muggles HANGing around during games and school. Also located on a busy road, car muggles should be watched for. Please tuck it back into its orginal hiding place. (I have found that if you place the log in the top, it's easier to screw back together and for the next person to remove.) Thank you and enjoy the hide.
