Welcome to the Barton Creek Greenway Connector! Opened in 2020, this connector allows direct access from the heart of University city to the ever expanding university area network of greenways. This greenway is one of the steepest and shortest in Charlotte. At around just 0.5 miles in length, the greenway descends a total of 100ft in elevation from top to bottom.
This cache is one of many I plan to hide over time along all of the university area greenways. This specific cache is located at the trailhead of the Barton Creek greenway, right at the JW Clay Blvd road crossing. Please exercise caution as, while still along the greenway, the cache is hidden somewhat near a busy road. Please also act a bit stealthier here as this area has more foot traffic than most other nearby greenways. Happy hunting!
