Dr. Susan "Sue" Richards (née Storm), a.k.a. the Invisible Woman, is an American superpowered adventurer. She was a college student before she was exposed to high levels of cosmic radiation when boyfriend and scientist, Dr. Reed Richards, took her with her younger brother Johnny Storm and pilot Ben Grimm into space in the stolen rocket Marvel-1. The radiation mutated her and her friends, turning her invisible and allowing her to create forcefields. Together they became the Fantastic Four, a team of adventurers who explore space, time, and alternate dimensions and save the world from science-based threats along the way.
The neat thing about the Invisible Woman is that I married a woman with the same name as her! That's probably just a coincidence, but it's fun nonetheless.
Each member of the Fantastic Four has powers that are linked to the four classical elements: Air, Earth, Fire, Water. Sue's invisible force fields are a representation of air, so with this cache you can feel and hear the whooshing air of cars zipping past you on the feeder.
After the slightly more difficult first cache in this series, this is a quick and simple crowd pleaser. Even though this is the smallest container in the series, there is a little room for trade items or trackables. Bring your own pen though. And although this is in a never-used portion of a parking lot, it is right next to the feeder, so a tiny bit of stealth might be required depending on the time of day. One other tip: once you enter this parking lot, there's no way to get back to El Dorado Blvd. You have to proceed north to Clear Lake City Blvd. Take that into account when planning your caching trip.
Congratulations to Beachcombers2 for FTF!
