Pine River is located in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan near the town of Cadillac and offers small-craft boating, high-quality fishing and outstanding scenery. The river is well-known for boating (primarily canoeing) and trout fishing. However, several other recreational activities are popular, including picnicking, hunting, wildlife viewing and swimming.
This cache is located off one of the many trails located in Sleepy Hollow State Park. Most of the trails are hard packed making a bike a great way to get to the caches in the area. Please note there are some roots on the trails. Keep in mind during hunting season to be aware of hunters in the area. Hunting is allowed from September 15 until April 1st each year.
