Okay, it really doesn't but here's the deal, the GPS coordinates mark the spot, if the water is low, you will need to get out, but it would probably be really low for this too happen. Could you get these with a boat - yup, just some of the spots might be harder to get close to. A kayak/canoe is easier.
Not really recommended for frozen water, but it could be done.
