Come together to help break a record and earn a souvenir!
Come on over and grab a cup of coffee and spend some time shooting the breeze with other local geocachers. You'll be able to trade travel bugs, or just hang out for a bit, while you recharge your batteries with your favorite type of morning beverage.
Today is the International Geocaching Day, and the day to set a geocaching world record! It’s also the day of the Geocaching 20th Anniversary Celebration in Seattle. Even if you can’t be in Seattle, you can join me in celebrating and helping to set a new record. Everyone who posts an “Attended” log will count towards the record.
The old record was set on Aug 11, 2013 with 126,833 people geocaching on that day. If a new record is set, you will receive a souvenir on your profile a few days later.
In addition to the world record, you can earn 30 points by attending an event, and also help Signal escape the labyrinth!
