Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Trivial Pursuit Challenge.

This is a series of 6 caches and a bonus designed to test your brain power first and then send you on a nice walk to pursue each of the Trivial Pursuit ‘Cheeses’. There is a bonus number in each cache which needs to be collected to enable you to work out the bonus coordinates for the Big Cheese bonus. GC9Y6W6.

The posted coordinates are irrelevant, please do not go there.

Whilst none of the caches are ‘extreme terrain’ in nature parts of the experience may be challenging and will test your Geocaching skills so please bear this in mind when you start out. All caches are placed within a 2 mile radius of the starting coordinates and whilst it would be feasible to complete them all on foot they are not specifically designed as a circular walk.

This is the  pink cheese and you will need to work out the following trivia ditloids (which have a music and entertainment slant) to work out where to start your pursuit of this cheese.

A  -  ? F in the G

B  - ? W and a F

C - G ? S by AA

D -  S B for ? B

E -  SW and the ? D

F  -  ? DAW by the B

You will now need to utilise the formula below to reveal the coordinates that you will need to visit to commence your pursuit of this cache.

N52 32.(D+A)B(E+C)

W001 34.(D+C)(F+A)(B+C)

At these coordinates you will need to take some care retrieving a container and its contents. I would suggest that it is best opening the container back on the path. Using the contents it should be a simple exercise to get the coordinates for the final cache using the formula below.

N52 32. Red Purple 8

W001 35. Yellow Blue 4

When I set this cache in the height of our very hot summer the path along here was rock hard however after heavy rain in the winter I get the feeling it may get quite muddy so please bear this in mind.

Don't forget to collect the bonus info written on the log book.

Ultimately this series is all about the country walks and the scenery which I hope you enjoy as much as I have. I am happy to provide help, puzzle hints (only after the first to find has been achieved ) and coordinate checks where required. Please send requests via the message centre and I will try and respond as quickly as possible. I welcome lots of photos of your adventures but please try not to post spoilers as to cache or interim stage locations. Best wishes. David.
